Oil & Cold Wax

Oil and cold wax combine to form a full-bodied medium excellent for creating texture. The buttery soft paste allows for an almost sculptural technique. Made from beeswax and resin, cold wax mixes with oils on the palette, lending the paint depth and luminosity. It lives well on a wood panel surface, as the wood can carry the weight of the wax and oil.
